No... im not OJ Simpson.It's about kindness.Last week i met Kanesh (may intake accounting) on the way to college thru LRT(he takes from Kelana to Wangsa too).We sat down on opposite sides,just far enough to prevent us from talking.

A couple of stations later,.i spotted a frail old man & my instant reaction was standing up & giving him my seat.From his expressions,i could tell he was very grateful for the kind act.Self-esteem increase by 15.265468%.The next station came an old woman,then Kanesh followed suit by giving her the seat too.Sheepish smiles,then talk resumes.The following station also introduced a old chap,so a guy are age also lifted his butt from the cold damp plastic seat.

Just like a chain reaction.

I proceeded told Kanesh of this new phenomenon by saying:"Once i start everybody follows",then an Indian lady who was beside us responded :"Not all of us are aware/conscious about this." We agreed.

After that... i thought:"What if i did not give up my seat?Will the other passengers give up their seats for the needy?Will the other passengers have the initiative to do so?" I will let you think about it.

LoL... On the way back to home thru LRT wangsa maju,i paid a visit to the men's,while using 1 of the stations,i noticed a man,50++ standing there and somehow i knew that he wasn't letting loose,then i turned my head to confirm my doubt & holy cow! He just bought the new Colgate Massager!! GOSH,that's my 1st thought in my head,then this quickly transformed to anger/embarassment/wonder. Who on earth in the right mind will "play" in public,at least do it in a cubicle or something...LoL.Furthermore,he has this typa gangster/bad ppl face.I guess that compliments his acts.He kept looking around(maybe finding some1 to join his venture)... then suddenly a female janitor came in,he took note,& he quickly finished his performance & zipped his pants & dashed straight out.[Never wash hands leh!D-I-R-T-Y!! ><] All together now... 1,2,3 "YUCK!!!" And this not my 1st encounter with him btw,i have seen him do it previously.

Here's the exact copy of my book review that won me the 4th place in the competition.

Book review of East of Eden, by John Steinbeck.

This highly-acclaimed story tells the tale of the Trask family who live in Connecticut and the Hamiltons in California. The story centers itself around stories of two brothers from the two different generations, Adam & Charles Trask, and Aron & Cal Trask. There is this constant love-hate relationship going on between the two, always trying to please their father in each and every step they take. Jealousy and rivalry included.
Mr. Steinbeck has taken a few pages from the Bible (most noticeable with the names of the characters and the ensuing events that follow) and repackaged it in a contemporary way. This story is remarkably dark & gloomy, with diseases and deaths of loved-ones happening on a regular basis.

The characters are created to represent all different aspects of the human kind, from the kind-hearted to the heartless. With Adam Trask being the former and Cathy Ames portraying the latter, with the author describing her as a girl “born without kindness or a conscience”, perfectly depicting her as a holy angel with the heart of Satan. Adam is so blinded by Cathy’s pure appearance to even think that something might be dreadfully wrong with her and he is subsequently destroyed by her mentally.

The critical point in East of Eden is when it came to the naming of Adam’s twins, Cal & Aron, thus making reference to Caleb & Abel, the sons of Adam and Eve. It speaks of a man having the choice to rule over sin, and that choice will make or break a man. Later in the story Cal & Aron’s life is almost identical to the story in the Bible, with the ending being the exception. This book, in my own humble opinion, is almost flawless, the only complain I have is that it might be a tad too tragic for some to take. This book is a recommended read for people in their late teenage years and above as this contains some sexual themes and violence.

Asia Lantern Festival 2006

Yesterday me+mum+dad went to a lattern festival in Bukit Jalil Stadium,RM1.5 for parking,RM5 for entrance,children below the age 5 free(I tried,but I couldn't qualify! -_-lll)It's basically a fest of all things made by lattern lights+plastic papers & stuff.Nvm,let the pictures do the talking instead. :)

Tis is a "Four-sided" Buddha,with 6 arms on each statue.The buddha side that faces the 100m Dragon ocassionally squirts a looonnnggg stream of water from the center of the lower hands.It sprays to a crowd of ppl who supposely will receive "blessings" from the buddha as they think it is some kind of holy water.Later u will see wat measures ppl go to to be a "little more blessed".

~~Look @ the picture above closely(click it to enlarge)there's a woman who wanted to collect the "holy water" from the buddha sia!She thinks that she is able to harvest the sacred liquid by bringing an empty bottle!!mayb she's gonna drink it later!!!yuck yuck,who knows what is it made of(the holy water)?Desperate Housewives!? o.0?! XD~~

3pm,GSC cinemas,sitting in between my dad & my cousin,silent phone,and after watching 30mins +- of trailers,advertisements telling u that alchohol frees ur mind & stuff,I almost forgot why i was here & wat movie im supposed to see![alzheimer's creeping in] Back to topic:Wow... tis movie really challenges ur thoughts about life & religion,about what is laid out for u 2 believe in and what Dan Brown claims to be true.

It starts of with a bang(literally) with the murder of one of 8 curators in the Louvre Museum (the rest are intact) and the introduction of Mr.Robert Langdon(Tom Hanks sporting a weird hairdo) beginning a lecture on symbology.He says that symbols are a guide to the past,coupled with projections of various famous symbols that appear 2 be one thing when zoomed in & another when zoomed out.Soon Langdon is called to help investigation of the curator & that's when he meets Sophie Neveu(Audrey Tautou) & realises that they are being framed up for killing the curator & it triggers the cat-and-mouse run from the police and from the conservative sect opus dei.From here on i tot the pace is FINALLY picking up,but no! it's still a slow drag watching our heroes run here & there unlocking the quest.It's it just me,or did it look way too easy for them to solve the mysteries;just look around and "tadaa" i found the secret entrance to this.

The characters in DVC range from easily forgettable to memorable.Tom Hanks is in the former category,his antics & performance is just simply odd,& it isn't easy to swallow until halfway thru.The most memorable character from my opinion is Sir Ian McKellan's Sir Leigh Teabing:he's funny,evil & sneeky all in one!(^_^).And u can't help but pity Paul Bettany's Silas as he has endured a rough childhood & simply being drifted into the wrong path,his a man of self-torture,punishing himself in the name of Christ.

The reason tis movie generated a heck lot of controversy is bcos it is against the normal teaching of Christianity.But then again,if Mr.Dan Brown himself DID NOT change the normal believes of Christianity,who in the right mind will buy his book,let alone watch the movie? He changed wat we believe is true so he can write an amazing story that asks "What if?".I'm somewhat in between enjoying the movie & wishing it was more fun.

One good reason y the japanese CANNOT master the complex language of English.

Pangya persuasively pulls u into playing golf.(4 "P"s XD)

Pangya is a online golf game where u can tee off with other golfers to basically have tons of fun.It's known as Albatross18 in it's global server.It's graphic is beautiful & extremely cute,everything's cute: it's characters,the enviroment,everything! So judging from it's main characters(a 14 yr old boy named Leorio,& also 14 yr old gal named fiama),it's main targeted at young teens to get them into knowing what on earth is golf... Speaking of learning how to golf,u begin by choosing a character & straight to it's very useful(but optional) tutorial where it will teach u everything about pangya.It's (Pangya's) learning curve is pretty linear & user friendly cos everything is almost given to u... no strategic thinking or anything that requires normal brain power.Btw, real-life golf ISN'T as simple as this(yes,i tried it in my younger yrs)

U start off with the basic noob(beginner) stuff,& u will get a caddie called Paps(i will get to that later),but further into the never-ending game u can earn Pang points(it's currency) to buy potions that give a boost in gameplay & additional gears to wear,some are just for the sake of decoration while others give u power-ups like increased accuracy,strength,speed & likewise.I love the music of pangya as it really suits the game:fun,cutesy,care-free.

Gameplay-wise,the clubs is often auto-adjusted depending how near u r to the hole for ur convenience sake,but u can always change the clubs for different lenghts(diff. clubs=diff. lengths).There are also very different enviroments to choose from (once u complete the tutorial,u go to play with other pangsters),ranging from lovely beaches to windmills to winter castles.In order to receive pang points to buy items,players must hit a par(number of strokes normally required) or above,namely birdie,eagle,or hole-in-one.
Next up is the caddies,it's ur partner who takes care of ur clubs & ur balls(no pun intended).As mentioned earlier,u will receive a caddie named Paps(it's a paper bag that looks like a cat! -_-lll)
Different caddies give u different advantages in the game,but all other caddies excluding Paps will have to be hired from the "item shop"through Pangs & they will require salaries to keep them with u.Currently there is onli two other caddies,one is named Dofku,the weirdest dolphin I have ever seen that carries an umbrella,& Salpin,a cute little fairy where u guides u thru ur tutorials.Below is a paper cut-out of Paps.(LoL)

After playing for an hour,one cannot help but feel it's like Gunbound(a worms-inspired shooting game):The gauge meter,aiming,taking turns,time allocated,the number of items allowable in one session etc.The onli difference is that in pangya u hit golf balls instead of enemies head.(^_^).
Pangya also features a cash-shop,where u can use real-life currency to buy even better upgrades(tis feature is necessary to make the game free forever for everyone else) by using A-cash.

Warning:Playing pangya WILL NOT turn u into Tiger Woods or Michelle Wie(she's so chio!^^) anytime soon,but it's definitely worth try being one online.All in all,Pangya is a nice & refreshing change in the over-crowded MMORPG world where there's is too many orge & monster slaying.
